'Uncharted' Movie Cast, Latest News & Updates: Lead Actor Search Is On Its Way; Mark Whalberg Is On The Top List

After announcing the new movie director for the "Uncharted" movie, director Shawn Levy announced the search for the lead actor of the film. This actually means that the "Uncharted" movie production is on its way.

An interview with the director Shawn Levy was held by the io9 and Levy confirmed that the search for the lead actor for the "Uncharted" is already being set. Levy also stated that there are several suggestions sent to him via social media about who should play Nathan Drake.

Shawn Levy recently made a joke that looking for the right actor to portray Nathan would be very easy because of massive suggestions from Twitter. It seems to be very easy to pick the right lead actor for the "Uncharted" movie adaptation, but as Levy said, it is not.

Meanwhile, "Uncharted" movie director even revealed that the movie scripts are now in progress, written by Joe Carnahan. Shawn Levy is now considering the fact that he needs to pick the right actor with an internet fan-base.

There are a couple of names suggested for the upcoming "Uncharted" movie adaptation, including Mark Whalberg and Seth Gordon. As the report of the IGN says, it seems that they are now eyeing someone to take the lead role job for the "Uncharted" movie.

A report from the Gamespot was released and it shows that the upcoming "Uncharted" movie adaptation seems to be a modern Indiana Jones. It has been said that Shawn Levy and Joe Carnahan both loved the Indiana Jones movie, which had a lot of similar things with the "Uncharted" game.

Carnahan spoke to the game director Amy Hennig together with Nolan North and Neil Druckman to talk about the "Uncharted" game. After a couple of hours, Carnahan came up with an idea that Mark Whalberg should play the lead role in the "Uncharted" movie.
