Original 'Batman' Episode is Back: 'The Return Of The Caped Crusaders' Animated To Honor Patrons

Who would forget the animated Batman? It is a classic in its own rights for many generations. The arrangement between Greenway Productions, 20th Century Fox, and Warner Bros is not yet clear but fans of this comic sequel from different generations are thankful.

It was 50 years ago when "Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders" was featured with Burt Ward, Julie Newmar and Adam West. They are still around but the youngest is now 71 and the oldest is 88. They could not have played in the new Batman episode: "The Return Of The Caped Crusaders", says Comic Mix.

The merger among industry players is evident when resemblance of Julie Mewmar's Catwoman character emerges in "The Return Of The Caped Crusaders" which is a 78-minute animation film. 20th Century Fox originally produced Newmar's version. She's 80 years old now.

"The Return Of The Caped Crusaders" carries the same feel as the original Batman feel. The theme song is the same comedic but colorful music track. "Biff! Pow! Bam!" graphics are kept, as per CNN.

It's exciting to note that at one time, Batman faces three Catwomen - the animations of Newmar, Eartha Kitt and Lee Meriwether. They all played Catwoman. Aunt Harriett still inquires between Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson and as secretive as ever but this is beyond the conflicts in "The Return Of The Caped Crusaders."

Michael Jelenic, who is involved in the making of "The Return Of The Caped Crusaders" admits that drastic experiments are necessary but carried out in a subtle way. Those involved are for the success of the animated Batman, considering that they are all the avid fans.

The producers' intention to create something new that still honor the original series for those who are familiar with it and for the generations that would come after this generation has been successful. Batman is the only comic hero that stands the test of time. "The Return Of The Caped Crusaders" is for release in November.
