'Thor 3 Ragnarok' Natalie Portman Replaced For A New Planet Hulk Character; Cast And Crew Wrap Filming

"Thor 3 Ragnarok" is coming in 2017, but because of the recently revealed "Doctor Strange" mid-credits teaser, fans just can't wait for the third god of thunder standalone flick to premiere on the big screen. With over a year left before "Thor 3 Ragnarok" releases, excited fans will surely learn more about the new movie in the coming months.

Reports recently claimed that cast and crew of "Thor 3 Ragnarok" have finished filming. As ComingSoon reported, director Taika Waititi shared the video of their last day on set where the Chris Hemsworth was seen with Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie in an "intergalactic junkyard."

The official plot of "Thor 3 Ragnarok" still remains to be a mystery as of writing. But, fans are already certain that the upcoming movie will introduce a slew of new characters in the movie including Cate Blanchett as Hela, Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, Karl Urban as Skurge and Sam Neill playing a still unnamed character.

Apart from the new faces, Thor will be joined by his fellow Avenger, Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo. Returning cast members include Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Idris Elba as Heimdall and Anthony Hopkins as Odin.

While fans will see some familiar faces, the third installment will do away with Thor's romantic life as Natalie Portman's Jane Foster will reportedly not return in "Thor 3 Ragnarok." Since the plot of the upcoming flick will mostly center on Thor's intergalactic adventure, there might be limited to no interaction with Earth in the sequel.

Meanwhile, reports have been teasing that "Thor 3 Ragnarok" will be loosely based on "Planet Hulk." Waititi recently teased the addition of another comic book character that seems to confirm speculations about the "Planet Hulk" arc.

"Thor 3 Ragnarok" is slated for a November 3, 2017 premiere.
