'Marco Polo' Season 3 Renewed: Script On The Works; Orus Returns, Kublai Khan Dies In The Next Season?

The last season of Marco Polo ended months ago and this made fans asking for more seasons of the Netflix series. While Netflix had been silent about details of the show, new reports indicate that "Marco Polo" Season 3 will be renewed soon.

Although it wasn't directly mentioned by "Marco Polo" director John Fusco that the show will be renewed, he had been posting some updates on social media, Ecumenical News reported. Fans consider this as a hint that "Marco Polo" Season 3 will be back on our TV screens soon.

In a Twitter post, Fusco shared a photo of his Labrador-Retriever experiencing snow for the first time. Of course, his dog doesn't have anything to do with the show but his post included the hashtag #amwriting and Leonard Wu, who is part of "Marco Polo", was tagged on it.

Because of this, many speculated that Fusco is actually writing the script of the series. Another thing, fans were also intrigued that Wu was tagged in the post. Wu portrayed the character of Orus in the show that died in season 2. But since he was tagged by Fusco, does it mean that he will be back?

Well, whatever it is that Fusco is writing, it sure brought a light of hope to the fans that their favorite Netflix show will soon return. There might even be a chance to see Orus again.

Aside from that, other reports reveal that Benedict Wong’s character, Kublai Khan will die in "Marco Polo" Season 3. According to Movie News Guide, Wong is one reason for the delay of the show's renewal because of his busy schedule in "Doctor Strange."

It is even speculated that he will not reprise his role as Kublai Khan because aside from "Doctor Strange" he is also working on "Avengers-Infinity War." One way to write his character off the series is to kill Kublai Khan.

What do you think? Will "Marco Polo" Season 3 indeed be renewed? Are we still going to see Kublai Khan and Orus? Come back for more details and news about the show.
