'Fifty Shades Darker' Jamie Dornan Answers Ian Somerhalder's Role In Series; Dakota Johnson Confused About Replacement Issues

Recent reports are circulating that Ian Somerhalder will join the cast of "Fifty Shades Darker" with Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson. Rumors are indicating that "The Vampire Diaries" lead actor will play the role of Jack Hyde.

Rumors are also indicating that Ian Somerhalder will replace Jamie Dornan in his role as Christian Grey in the upcoming "Fifty Shades Darker" amidst Dornan's rumor divorce with wife Amelia Warner. Dakota Johnson welcomes Ian Somerhalder and looks forward to seeing the result of filming.

However, news regarding Ian Somerhalder and his "recent" role to play in "Fifty Shades Darker" is completely false. For those who have been monitoring the progress of the movie, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have already finished filming "Fifty Shades Darker" and Fifty Shades Freed." So it is impossible for "The Vampire Diaries" star to join the cast as the production has already wrapped filming.

A lot of the fans of "Fifty Shades Darker" find the rumor hilarious since Jamie Dornan is the perfect person to play Christian Grey and Ian Somerhalder is only fit to be a vampire in "The Vampire Diaries." The rumors regarding Jamie Dornan leaving the franchise is baseless and should not be taken seriously.

If there was anyone who was replaced on "Fifty Shades Darker," it is not Jamie Dornan but director Sam Taylor-Johnson. James Foley replaced Taylor-Johnson to create "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed."

"Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" wrapped filming on July in Paris with Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan's intimate wedding and honeymoon scenes. Photos of the last days of production were also leaked online with Amelia Warner joining the cast.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is set for its official release on February 2017 while "Fifty Shades Freed" will be released in February 2018. The film will star Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson with no involvement from Ian Somerhalder.
