'Loving' Synopsis, Why Everyone Should See It And Why Everyone's Saying It's Good But Not The Best?

"Loving" is the love story of Richard Loving and Mildred Loving. However, the couple wasn't the typical couple in 1959 Caroline County Va. because Richard Loving was a white man who fell in love and married Mildred.

"Loving" is important as it illustrates how racism during the time affected the lives of everyone. Even with a license, a white and black person caught in bed together is a felony.

The "Loving" film then explores and represents how interracial marriage was legalized with the case Loving v. Virginia in 1967. This is one of the most important cases as it ended the restriction in the U.S. for interracial marriage.

Nancy Buirski heard of the couple's story on the obituary of Mildred in 2008; she told Refinary29. In 2012, she first made a documentary about the couple by interviewing their friends and families, and eventually made the film "Loving."

The film promises a real story and a real love story that everyone should know. It aims to entertain and at the same time educate the audience, and that's what "Loving" aims to do.

Joel Edgerton stars as Richard and Ruth Negga stars as Mildred in "Loving." Ruth Negga stands as the source emotions in the film while Richard showcases a minimalist character who isn't a fan of the spotlight.

Now, "Loving" is set to hit the big screen. However, many are already saying they've already seen the movie from the trailer itself, as reported by Forbes. Adding that "Loving" is "too safe now."
