'Scandal Season 6' Finally Airs in January: Is Olivia Pope On To Another Political Scandal?

ABC is true to its promise that the wait for "Scandal Season 6" would soon be over. This will be shown right after "Grey's Anatomy" and followed by "How to Get Away With Murder" on Jan. 19, it's premier date.

"Scandal's Season 6" full trailer has now been spotted on TV - and not just a mere teaser. The whole mess in the election saga has been presented, cast in hospitals, fights among characters and a hint of who's going to win the election, says TV Line.

Not to mention the explosion of a cabin, but who's injured or if there's a fatality, that we will have to find out once the show has aired on TV. Who's responsible for the incident? This is another question that we can only ask up to this moment for "Scandal Season 6."

The new D.C. drama's trailer implies that election results are on hand for broadcast. This could have been relative to the country's real election developments but within 10 minutes of the trailer, January 19 is revealed for the premiere date of "Scandal Season 6."

"Scandal Season 6" features Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) running a crisis management firm. She and her team are charged with handling political scandals. An Oval Office personality (Tony Goldwyn) is allegedly involved with her, according to Deadline.

As a review in Season 5, presidential candidates are getting ready for the confirmation of their running mates. Olivia is in difficulty and she is on her own.

Scott Foley, Bellamy Young, Darby Stanchfield, Guillermo Diaz, Katie Lowes, Jeff Perry, Portia de Rossi, Joshua Molina, and Cornelius Smith Jr. compose the assembly of casts of "Scandal Season 6".

Watch out for "Scandal Season 6" airing at 9 p.m., Thursdays on ABC. It's hard to miss it in between "Grey's Anatomy" and "How To Get Away With Murder."
