WiFi-Powered Smart Oven Supercharges Cookie Perfection; CHiP Tethered with SideChef and Latest in Food Prep Tech

Christmas just got early with Santa's latest invention in food and technology town. Gourmet cookie preparation within 10 minutes is now made possible by CHiP, a Kickstarter project that is slowly but surely gaining online traction for its unique offering. CHiP is a cutting edge oven that can make different flavored cookies in less than 10 minutes.

Gluten-free and breakfast varieties of cookies are available as options for this CHiP cookie oven. The oven prototype is portable and easy to clean and can be brought anywhere. The functionality is tethered to a smartphone app called SideChef where there is an option to set a timer for the chosen cookie recipe and ability to share on social media or other people.

According to CHiP CEO Kevin Yu in his interview with Mashable, their startup team has an immense desire to bring the perfect cookie experience to every user regardless of inherent baking skill or experience. "We realized we wanted a device that made what we love easily, conveniently, and to perfection," he explains. Their efforts have been positively received and have gained 85 backers with more than one-fifth of their Kickstarter goal as of the time of posting.

Lifestyle recommendations are given as well for each cookie recipe. Healthy oatmeal raisin varieties are best for kid's breakfast or snack boxes, banana quinoa is recommended for the health-conscious individuals, and espresso chocolate chip cookie is the top choice for energy-boosting afternoons. The cookie making is a three-step process: scan the recipe code, drop the dough on the oven, and eat the cookie after.

The partner app of ChiP, SideChef, is reviewed highly for its beginner-friendly interface. Prior to the partnership with ChiP cookie oven app, SideChef already has more than 3,000 easy-to-make recipes under its wing. SideChef is also owned by CHiP CEO Kevin Yu.
