"Girl Meets World" Season 3 cancellation news reveals that Rowan Blanchard may be the reason behind the rumored series finale of the Disney Channel series. According to MTV News, the actress was recently tapped to play a role in the upcoming movie, "A Wrinkle In Time."

This is a star-studded movie, as the film will also feature cast members such as Oprah Winfrey, Chris Pine, Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling. The "GMW" Season 3 star shared the good news on her Instagram page.

This led to speculations that Blanchard will leave "Girl Meets World" Season 3 for good in order to pursue opportunities outside of the Disney Channel show. There have also been rumors that her co-star, Sabrina Carpenter, will also leave the series in order to pursue her career in the music industry.
