'Hawaii Five - O' Spoilers: Catherine Is Not The One Who Got Away But The One Who Was Not Meant To Be

Aside from its the action flicks of "Hawaii Five - O," it also has a soft spot for romance. Now it has become a love triangle sequel and it's a Downey-McGarrett-Rollins one.

On Catherine Rollins' (Michelle Borth) side, however, she has willingly given her blessings to McGarrett for his relationship with Lynn Downey. Rollins really did not miss out on McGarrett's intended proposal during last season of "Hawaii Five - O."

Rollins was aware of the proposal and she would have answered yes to his marriage proposal. Perhaps just wrong timing or not really meant to be. The director may have other plans for the ex-couple.

As usual, following the culture of "Hawaii Five - O", Rollins rushed to inform McGarrett's that his mother Doris played by Christine Lahti was detained in Morocco that has something to do with Wo Fat's father and the CIA.

Lynn Downey (Sarah Carter) ended up having dinner alone that was meant to be a romantic dinner with her boyfriend while the two went on to facilitate the rescue mission for Doris. Downey might have liked Rollins so much when she told her that her boyfriend would have asked her hand for marriage if she did not disappear in the past.

Rollins then confirmed that she would have accepted the proposal but for now, she wanted to focus on her career and she is happy for the both of them, before making a disappearing act again, according to TVLine.

The150th episode of "Hawaii Five - O" may have disappointed McGarrett-Rollins fans but for sure they are now relieved that the ex-couple can already have the needed closure.

Separately, O'Loughlin on the triangle scenario made it clear, that Rollins for McGarrett is definitely not "the one who got away" but "the one who was really not meant to be", according to TV Guide.
