Brad Pitt On His Quest For Joint Custody Of Their Six Kids With Angelina Jolie

In the ongoing divorce case of the previously celebrated couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, a petition for joint physical and legal custody of their six children was filed by Brad Pitt thru the courts. This is in response to Jolie's petition for guardianship regarding the children.

It has been a massive media speculation on who should get parental authority over the six kids that Brad Pitt and Jolie had when the separation had been the talk of the town. The eldest is Maddox, 15 years old, 12-year old Pax, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and the twins Vivienne and Knox both 8-year-old.

According to People, just like an ordinary couple who is in the process of divorce negotiations, plenty of issues are arising and cannot immediately be resolved which includes to whom will the custody of the kids be given to. The opposing teams are trying to do their best in order to benefit both parties involved especially the young kids who need parents.

Entertainment Tonight mentioned that Pitt's recent petition for joint custody of the children didn't surprise Angelina Jolie at all. It is because Brad Pitt as a matter of legal proceedings needs to respond to that one filed by Jolie in a stated period of time in order to be valid and binding.

Both parties are currently in a temporary custody deal where both of them have custody of the kids per advice of the Department of Child and Family Service Council. Jolie, on the one hand, has been mentioned to be in full-time efforts towards the kids like doing they're homework together. While Brad Pitt, on the other end of the spectrum, volunteered for drug and alcohol test though it is not required in order to be granted his request.

At the end of the day, the goal is simple- to find a good guardian for the children. What do you think about the steps taken by both parties? Comment below.
