According to ShopperTrak, last year's Black Friday sale last year fell 10.4 percent to $20.4 billion during the four-day weekend. There are a number of reasons for the fall, and experts say to watch on the electronic goods that are bought.

People should watch on the heavily discounted electronic goods, whose prices are beyond imagination. As per Telegraph.co.uk, electronic goods look similar to the flagships but are made with cheaper components or available with lower specifications.

The buyer should be more suspicious while buying heavily discounted electronic goods. Accurate check on the model number and other specifications would be advisable. Experts also advise going for cashback offers.

Check on the website where you are buying electronic goods, which should have "https" instead of "http" that means it is certified to secure customer data. The highly certified website shows a lock symbol and green highlighting in the browser address bar.

Experts insist in buying previous Apple products, gaming systems, electronics goods such as TVs, tablets and smartphones, video games, CDs, DVDs, and home appliances. Goods like winter clothing, outdoor essentials, bedding, Christmas decorations, toys etc. are advised to be avoided.

Instead of rushing on the Black Friday, people can also find good deals on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the Thanksgiving Day week. Amazon is also a better place to buy electronic goods with decent discounts. Stay tuned for more updates.
