Nintendo Reopens Power Lines To Relive The 80's: Launches NES Classic Edition – Are You Making A Call?

Nintendo takes nostalgia to the highest level by launching Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) Classic Edition and reviving its Power Lines for one weekend. Nintendo pays full respect to history with the week-end line reopening simultaneous with the official release of NES Classic Edition on November 11 up to 13.

Engadget delights gamers of all ages, young and young at heart, with the news that the lines will give out tips and strategies of almost all of the 30 games offered by the console. The hint line retains its original 1980's number, 425-885-7529. Calls shall be attended for 13-hours daily from 9AM to 10 PM.

In the past, NES users were assisted with recorded tips and hints via Power Line. Today's special treat provides special tips coupled with real-life stories from the people who voiced the recorded tips back in their time. Nintendo managed to gather the original 1980s Game Counselors who were very much enthusiastic to join in the ultimate throwback.

Follow News reports that Nintendo will commence the November 10 launch at their New York store in Manhattan Rockefeller Plaza. Nintendo encourages interested gamers to come as early as they can for only the first 250 earliest birds will be accommodated. The party will start as scheduled.

The launch adopts an 80s theme, no brainer, and the NES Classic Edition shall be featured along with other NES mini games, game shows and best-dressed competition. NES consoles can be purchased as soon as the clock strikes 12.

On top of Power Line and the 80s themed party in New York, Nintendo will be actively posting trivias, techniques and many more tips oin their various social media account. The #NESterday shall also commence on Nov. 10, and will continue for 2 days.
