"Supergirl" Season 2 spoilers note on the possibility that Kara (Melissa Benoist) will find a new love interest for her this season. As Carter Matt notes in its report, things did not seem to work out between Kara and James in the first season.

Now, "Supergirl" Season 2 seems to be hinting on a possible romance between Kara and Mon-El. As actress Melissa Benoist discussed in a recent interview, there is a possibility that Kara will venture out on the romantic aspect of life now that she adjusted to living as a superhero.

"I love that she's not pining after anyone right now - but there are things on the horizon," she said.

In an interview with Collider, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg also shared that fans and viewers will finally see how things will work out between Kara and Mon-El by the end of "Supergirl" Season 2. Kreisberg also explained that Kara and James' story had to end once the show moved to a different network.

Tyler Hoechlin, who played the role of Superman in "Supergirl" Season 2, also told the publication that they do not have anyone in mind yet for the role of Lois Lane. This character is one of the most highly anticipated roles in the series since The CW drama introduced Superman in the second season.
