'Grey's Anatomy': Is A Power Struggle At The OR Going To Kill A Patient? Amelia's Backstory Might Be Shown In 'Private Practice'

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Episode 8's trailer was released recently and in it, it could be deemed that there will be a power struggle in the operating room. For other news regarding the show, the spin-off "Private Practice" might show more about Amelia's fears of getting pregnant again after she told her current partner that she does not want to have children.

Is a patient going to lose his life over the power struggle at the operating room in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Episode 8? In the trailer, it seems that there will be complications arising from the disagreement of the doctors attending to a patient being operated. Fans have noticed that Meredith has been taking the backseat in the last few episodes of "Grey's Anatomy" but in the next episode, she might take her stand against Webber and Owen.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Episode 8 is entitled "The Room Where It Happens" and in it, Owen, Webber, and Meredith, as well as the other resident doctors are helping during the operation. Owen announces that they are racing against the clock so they need to discuss the options. However, Meredith disagrees saying that they don't then Webber chimes in asking what the reason is behind the non-discussion. Meredith snaps back saying, "I out-rank you."

The narrator then says "A power struggle could have deadly consequences" as the camera shows some trouble with the patient at the operating room. Towards the end of the trailer for "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Episode 8, Meredith shouts that they should not make a specific cut. It remains unclear what will happen to the patient on "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Episode 8.

In "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Episode 7, Dr. Eliza Minnick was introduced and she shook things up at the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital with the revamp of the residential program making almost everyone, especially Webber, feeling on the edge.

As for Amelia's possible back story, Yibada reported that the reason behind her telling her husband Owen that she does not want to have children has something to do with her miscarriage in the past. This will be shown in the "Grey's Anatomy" spinoff "Private Practice." Owen might undergo an emotional roller coaster as he badly wants to have a child but it might not be possible since his wife does not want to have one.
