‘Frozen 2’ Updates: Demi Lovato In, Idina Menzel Out?; Princess Anna To Return As An Evil Princess?

"Frozen," the 2013 animated film adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale, "The Snow Queen" is a huge worldwide hit that appeals to both children and adults. Fans are more than thrilled when Disney confirmed that a sequel will soon be a reality. As "Frozen" is the highest-grossing animated movie of all time, news of a "Frozen 2" happening prompted various speculations about the plot, storyline, release date, and new cast members.

Fortunately, FabNews published some of the recent updates about Frozen 2. Even if Disney is yet to announce the release date of "Frozen 2," the FabNews article is guessing that the hit movie is most likely to hit the cinemas in 2018.

The latest rumor about Frozen 2 also claims that the storyline is finished and production is about to start with original cast members such as Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, and Idina Menzel. Meanwhile, another article in University Herald points out the gossip that Idina Menzel who sang the phenomenal song, "Let It Go" will possibly be replaced.

Possible replacements for Idina in "Frozen 2" includes Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift. If this is true, Demi Lovato replacing Idina Menzel seems most likely since the 'Skyscraper" singer sang the pop version of "Let It Go."

Imaginations really have no limits with another guess that Princess Anna will be the ultimate villain in "Frozen 2." According to the rumors, the bubbly princess will discover she is adopted along with the fact that she has a superpower of her own. Princess Anna will be consumed by jealousy and would try to kill Queen Elsa so she can take over the Kingdom of Arendelle.

With so many wild assumptions about the return of the sister-team, Princess Anna and Queen Elsa on screen, what do you want to believe? One thing is for sure, though, 'Frozen 2" will be equally successful (or may even surpass) as the first movie.
