People can't get enough of Zayn Malik with a lot of his revelations recently, starting from his decision to co-produce a show, and now, to the rumors that he will soon be starting his acting career. Will the former One Direction singer finally have a change of career?

The 23-year old pop singer, Zayn Malik, has signed a contract with NBC, together with Dick Wolf of "Law & Order", and his wife Noelle Wolf, to producing a new boyband TV series called "Boys". The show will revolve around the story of a fictional boyband and their struggles coping up with pressures, individual conflicts and the group's phenomenal fame.

Zayn Malik has expressed his excitement to produce a riveting show with Mr. Wolf whom he considered to be a "legend" in the field. The boyfriend of Gigi Hadid, however, is reportedly to not just work an executive producer of the show but will also make his own act in the series.

According to Music News, there is an ongoing discussion between Zayn Malik and the bosses of the show to give him a cameo role in some of the episodes of the series to glaze his skills in acting. While this may sound of a big news to everybody, the former "One Direction" member also told the reporters that he previously attended acting workshops which he eventually ended on the decision to join his former boy group. He is positive to the thought that his appearances in some of the episodes of the new show will be a great avenue for him to enhance the craft he once loved doing.

A verified source of The Sun Newspaper said that the "Pillowtalk" singer was very interested into starting his acting career and even considers this as a great opportunity for him, especially that he will have more authority over the show. Zayn Malik had quite number of nominations and awards before. Who knows Emmy and Golden Globe are now on his list too?
