'That's So Raven' Spinoff Updates & Spoilers: Raven Is A Single Mother, Are Both Kids Psychic? Plot Details, Predictions & More

Fans of the Disney show "That's So Raven" were all delighted to hear that a spinoff of the beloved show is happening. Series star Raven-Symone made the announcement on "The View", and now more updates are emerging, including the tidbit that Raven is a single mother, and spoilers indicate that there is a possibility that both kids will be psychic.

The sequel to "'That's So Raven", which ended in 2007, will feature Raven Baxter as a divorced single mother. According to E! News, one of her kids will inherit her psychic powers. Symone, who will also serve as a producer on the still unnamed series, is excited to get to filming. Her role in the "That's So Raven" has endeared her to Disney and comedy fans throughout the world.

Now it's her kids time to shine in the new "That's So Raven" sequel. The two children will be Nia and Booker. Nia, the older of the two, will begin middle school as the series starts, as reported by TV Line. It will be Nia who inherits her mother's ability to see into the future. She is described as someone who is bold and confident, and always willing to help someone in need, even if it gets her into trouble. Doesn't that sound like someone we know?

It seems that Nia will be just her mother, who went through so many crazy adventures in the original "That's So Raven" series.  The younger child, Booker, meanwhile, is a sweet boy who loves his mama. There are no rumors yet as to whether he will also get his mother's precognitive ability. The two roles for the children have not yet been cast, and there is no additional information on whether the other stars of "That's So Raven" will also make an appearance.

Fans will be waiting to see if Eddie (Orlando Brown) will perhaps be seen and finally pursue a romantic relationship with Raven? Or perhaps Chelsea (Anneliese van der Pol), Raven's other best friend will also join in the adventures that Raven will go through?
