‘Overwatch’ PTR Updated; Sombra’s Skin Now Available For Players; 3 Legendary Skin Pay Homage To Los Muertos

"Overwatch" Public Test Realm (PTR) has been updated to include their newest hero Sombra. Players can now test out Sombra's skills including her latest skins, kit, and a machine pistol.

Since Sombra's announcement during Blizzcon event last Oct. 4, players have been looking forward to "Overwatch" Sombra's ability to turn invisible, teleport, and disrupt enemy players and turrets. Now, players can explore the intricacies of her kit.

As of the moment, a number of her skins are available on "Overwatch," 12 to be specific.

Sombra's skins have the usual selection of alternate-color options and three Legendary options, which pay homage to her relationship with the Los Muertos, a central figure in the character's long-running teaser ARG. Sombra's skins are not the only ones available. Sombra's emotes, victory poses, sprays, highlight intros, and other "Overwatch" customization items are also included in the "Overwatch" PTR update.

To unlock Sombra’s skins, players need Loot Boxes, which are earned each time a player levels up their account. Another way to buy Sombra’s skins is to use gold, which the player can earn through Loot Boxes.

According to GameSpot, the "Overwatch" PTR update also includes two other major features: the "Arcade" and a new Arena map called "Echo Point Antarctica." The "Arcade" is the new home for Brawls and will host "new game modes, new rule sets, and exclusive maps," like Arcade 1v1 and 3v3 Arena Game Modes. These are two of the modes coming. However, as to that date when these modes will be available, there has been no information released as of this writing.
