New 2016 MacBook Pro Release Date, Device Specs Announced; Apple To Retain Its Basic Notebook Form

Fans start to queue as the new 2016 MacBook Pro release date has been announced, with Apple boasting the evolved Touch Bar and other device specs, saying that the MacBook Pro will remain as a notebook device. Last 27 October, Apple announced the release of the MacBook Pro at an event in San Francisco.

Apple's new 2016 Macbook Pro features USB-C ports and a Retina display. It also features the highly talked about multi Touch Bar and a versatile strip display that replaces several keys such as the escape, work, and control keys found in a standard QWERTY keyboard.

On 2 November, Apple's Senior VP of Worldwide Marketing Philip Schiller revealed in an interview with The Independent the organization's arrangements and response to the announcement of the new 2016 MacBook Pro release. According to the interview, all Mac and iOs gadgets will always be treated as separate from the other and that Apple will not try to integrate the two devices together.

Schiller further discussed that it is part of Apple's thinking about how to take the notebook to the next level. He said that while others are trying to turn the device into the tablet, the new 2016 MacBook Pro "is a product that celebrates that it is a notebook." He proudly added that the shape of the new 2016 MacBook Pro is something that has been with Apple for the last 25 years and it is probably going to be with the company for another 25 years because "there's something eternal about the basic notebook form factor."

Apple's new 2016 Macbook Pro is currently being for sold for $1,499 for the 13-inch model that does not feature a Touch Bar, while the 13-inch model with the Touch Bar and Touch ID model is being sold for $1,799. On the other hand, the price of the new 15-inch model of the new 2016 MacBook Pro starts at $2,399 but may be sold to as much as $4,299 depending on device specs and accessories.
