Adele Enjoying her New Role as a Mom

Adele is really having a tough time managing her career and family life. Still, the pop diva is enjoying her new role as a mother.

The Grammy-award winner, who welcomed her first child with partner Simon Konecki in October 2012, admitted that her little one's arrival changed her life.

"I've been up since 6 a.m. so I'm quite tired, but it's nice," People magazine quoted Adele telling reporters, while receiving the Best Pop Solo performance award for her "Set Fire to the Rain" at the Grammy Awards on Sunday. "I haven't been as stressed out. In life you have to prioritize what you stress about and worry about when you have a child."

The young mom also revealed her struggle at work and life with her son (whose name is yet to be revealed), at home.

"I've been having lots of meetings and I've been out of the loop really," Adele told People. "I've been singing my baby nursery rhymes so I don't really know what's cool and what's not."

Adele's relationship with 36-year-old Konecki started last January. Adele announced the news of her first child with Konecki in June 2012. Konecki has a 3-year-old daughter with his ex-wife, fashion stylist Clary Fisher.

Apart from her latest achievement at the Grammy Awards, the 24-year-old songstress grabbed the "Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song" (Skyfall) in January 2013. Adele received six Grammy awards in February last year, making her the second female artist after Beyonce Knowles to win six awards in a single night.
