New Laptops That Can Compete Against 2016 Apple MacBook Pro Specs Are Now Available

The 2016 Apple MacBook Pro is now facing stiff competition against new laptops that are currently available in the market. Both Microsoft and Dell are now gearing up for a claim on the huge laptop profits projected in the years to come.

For most professionals like video editors and graphic designers, the 2016 Apple MacBook Pro specs are not just good enough. Because of the addition of Thunderbolt 3 standard, the traditional ports like the SD card reader and USB have been removed. The new Apple MacBook Pro specs also doesn't include the latest Nvidia and Intel processors.

On the bright side, Apple reinvented their laptop with a sleek design that's thin and light. The retail price of $1,299 is also considered by some consumers as a bargain and the Apple MacBook Air has just been invigorated with updated internals.

The unit would be a surprise for most average consumers who want good graphic performance and maximum speed. The 2016 Apple MacBook Pro also comes with a brand new "Force Touch" trackpad, a Retina display, a new USB-C port, and a new keyboard.

After a long heated battle over the years, the rivalry between Apple and Dell has gotten much fiercer. The two companies have a striking difference on the operating systems of their laptops and the build quality and technical specs for each of them also have interesting points.

Dell and Apple obviously have varying philosophy designs with their new laptops. Dell has chosen to use a carbon fiber-coated wrist rest and keyboard tray along with an aluminum lid with a metal base. Apple meanwhile has adopted a unique yet trusted aluminum unibody design.

The 15-inch 2016 Apple MacBook Pro has definitely met its match with Dell's XPS 15 laptop, priced at $1,850. The laptop's no-nonsense design has a 15-inch 4K display that can render Adobe RGB color space at 100 percent.

Microsoft also gave the 2016 Apple MacBook Pro a run for its money when it came out with the Surface Book Premium that houses an Intel Core i7 processor. It has a touch screen capability, plenty of ports that include an SD card reader, and excellent game graphics, not to mention the new Microsoft Surface pen stylus.

Another contender in the laptop war against the 2016 Apple MacBook Pro is the new Alienware 13 that runs on a forceful Nvidia graphics chip and comes with an optional OLED display, perfect for previewing HDR game content. The laptop has a 13-inch body and an Alienware Graphics Amp add-on that costs around $199.
