"American Horror Story: Roanoke" is about to conclude its season 6 and things are getting more complicated as various theories came out regarding the confirmed return of the character, Lana Winters. Fortunately, the official trailer has just been released, confirming the details of the return of Lana Winters in episode 10 of "American Horror Story: Roanoke" season 6.

The return of Lana Winters on "American Horror Story: Roanoke" has earlier been teased by series co-creator Ryan Murphy through his official Twitter account. Murphy announced on Halloween night that Lana Winters will return on "AHS: Roanoke," reiterating the character as the ultimate survivor from Sarah Paulson's Asylum. This announcement resulted to various theories predicting the possible role Lana Winters can have in the season finale of "American Horror Story: Roanoke."

One theory claimed Winters would most likely interview the character who will ever survive from the "Three Days in Hell" episode. However, this theory did not get much hype as another theory has surfaced, which seemed to be more appealing to many fans.

The other theory came out from Reddit user ctuwallet24, claiming Sarah Paulson can appear both as the journalist Lana Winters and as the actress Audrey Tindall. It was speculated that Winters will be interviewed regarding the release of the her final book, "Roanoke: One Man's/Woman's Story of Survival." This speculated plot coincides with how the finale of season 2 of "American Horror Story" has ended, where Winters was also interviewed about her book. In the said scene, the character mentioned in the interview that she has written two books. The new theory then stemmed out from this old interview, predicting the second book will now be the topic of discussion in the new interview in the upcoming season finale of "American Horror Story: Roanoke."

On the contrary, the second theory was debunked by the release of the official trailer for the finale episode of "American Horror Story: Roanoke." The promo video has just been published which highlighted the appearance of Lana Winters, detailing what fans can expect on the return of the character in "American Horror Story: Roanoke."

Apparently, the first theory is correct, where Winters will be seen interviewing Lee (played by Adina Porter), the sole survivor from the previous episode, "Return to Roanoke: Three Days in Hell."

Episode 10 of "American Horror Story: Roanoke" will unveil how Lee will go on trial for the murder of Monet (Angela Bassett), alongside the attempted murder case with Audrey Tindall (Sarah Paulson).
