NBA Latest Trade Rumors: Los Angeles Lakers Welcome DeMarcus Cousins; Goodbye to D'Angelo Russell and Julius Randle?

The latest NBA trade rumors are now again swirling around Sacramento King big man DeMarcus Cousins as the King had struggling games in the NBA season 2016-2017. Los Angeles, on the other hand, had D'Angelo Russell and Julius Randle on the regular topic trade in the last few months.

HNGN reported that DeMarcus Cousins had been dissatisfied on how the Sacramento King organization courses the team and the structure of their roster. The Kings also continue to stumble and lose a few of their games in the opening season. This reason could probably force Cousins to leave the King.

The future of the LA Lakers franchise is leaning on Russell and Randle but the organization wants to make a hard push to the playoffs and it could only be possible if a superstar like Cousins joins the band.

According to the Sportsrageous, it is a possible deal that the Lakers will send D'Angelo Russell and Julius Randle contract for DeMarcus Cousins, which can become the focal point of the offense in Lakers' strategy system.

Los Angeles had remained a promising team that could contend for a playoff spot this season with their possible core of DeMarcus Cousins, Jordan Clarkson, Lou Williams, and Nick Young.

DeMarcus Cousins recorded 33 points and a season-high of 19 rebounds in 116-104 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder last season. In 34 games, Cousins already had his nine straight double-doubles in his 24th game of the season.

On January 23, Cousin made his new career-high of 48 points in a 108-97 over the Indiana Pacers. Then, he broke his record again with 56 points in a 129-128 double overtime loss to the Charlotte Hornets.

DeMarcus Cousins 56 points set a new record for the 2015-2016 seasons that broke Chris Webber's franchise record of 51 points. He was then named as the Western Conference All-Star reserve for the 2016 NBA All-Star Game, which earned him his second straight All-Star member.
