Breast cancer is a very dangerous disease. Lately, researchers found out that there are more symptoms than having a lump in a breast and it causes people to delay their check-ups and once it was delayed it can be worse. So other countries have a program on old women to have a breast screening.

Yesterday, researchers at a school in London found out almost 1 out of six women that were diagnosed with breast cancer that didn't have a lump symptom when they go to their doctor.

According to PharmaTimes, the researchers looked at the data of more than 2300 women that been examined with breast cancer in London, England. And they also found out those women with no lump symptom delay to seek for help.

Monica Koo, presenting author based at UCL, said that their researchers discovered that almost 17% of women that been diagnosed that they have other symptoms than a breast lump. And she was worried about the women that didn't know that there are many symptoms other than a lump.

 Based on brestcancer.org article 85-90% of breast cancers cause of gene mutation that can turn on additional genes and can turn off others in the cells. Through these changes it affects the cell and gains the ability to keep dividing without control and producing more cells can lead to a tumor.

Other symptoms of breast cancer are skin irritation, nipple retraction, discharge of fluid in the nipple other than breast milk, and an infected or inflamed breast.

Currently more than 53,000 been diagnosed with breast cancer every year, the earlier the check up the more chance of survival.

In Wales and England about 90% of women were diagnosed with breast cancer, and 60% of these women expect to survive more than 20 years.

As what americancancersociety article said that there is no certain way now to prevent breast cancer but there are a lot of things you can do to lower your risk such as changing your lifestyle and stopping your vices.
