'Married At First Sight' Season 5 Spoilers & Updates; Matchmakers Go Multinational, Pairing Couples From Around The World

If the idea of saying yes at the drop of a hat and being married at first sight with someone you already share a culture with is uneasy, how much more with someone outside your culture? "Married at First Sight" producers are exploring this idea for its upcoming Season 5.

FYI´s "Married At First Sight" Season 4 can be considered as a success since only one couple out of three ended up in divorce.The showrunners of the reality TV series are gearing up for a much more exciting concept by going international. While there haven't been much teasers about the upcoming Season 5, the biggest scoop is that the next season will feature more diverse pairings.

The challenge of this idea lies in the fact that it will not only be a matchmaking of sociological differences, but also language, religious and cultural differences. Movie News Guide reveals that there will be six men and women who are all from different countries.

Bitbag noted that two of the participants are from the East Asia, namely, the Philippines and South Korea. Others will hail from Europe, such as Spain, United Kingdom, France and Germany.

The show´s unconventional approach to marriage continuous to get high viewership rate. The multinational Season 5 will surely push the limits of modern-day arranged marriage, and who knows how the scientific matching methods will work? This is by no means a perfect science. But the public who are already and slowly accepting the rising number of interracial marriages will learn more about it.

Meanwhile, the "Married At First Sight" Season 4 stars recently had a reunion in downtown Miami. Tom Wilson, Lillian Vilchez, Nick Pendergrast, Sonia Granados, Derek Schwartz and Heather Seidel organized a feeding program.
