'Sex And The City' Spinoff Premiere Date, News & Update: Kim Cattrall Getting Her Own Sequel? Which Other 'SATC' Characters Joining Her?

It's the news that all "Sex And The City" fans have been anxiously waiting to hear. Kim Cattrall, who plays vixen Samantha Jones in the much-loved HBO series, has hinted on getting a possible spinoff of her character. The question is, will Samantha be joined by her BFF's Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda?

The last time we saw these girls was in 2010, in the film "Sex and the City 2". The film was a commercial success despite the negative reviews it received. Fans have been waiting for six years now to see whether the girls from New York City will once again grace their screens, and it looks like their dreams will finally come true with "Sex and the City" spinoff.

In October, Sarah Jessica Parker already started the rumors when she said that a revival of "Sex and the City" might actually happen. And now Kim Cattrall is adding fuel to the fire. Hollywood Life reports that in a response to a segment on "The Wendy Williams Show", Cattrall replied, "I'm so unbelievably flattered & moved. Can't WAIT 2 get back 2 the serious business of making u all laugh!" Does this mean that Samantha Jones will be back in the Big Apple?

E! News also reports that when a fan asked if this is a confirmation of the comeback of "Sex and the City", she replied with "Fingers x'd." Despite the lack of confirmation from HBO that "SATC" is coming back, this reply by Cattrall is already giving much hope to the fans. 2018 will mark the twentieth anniversary since the premiere of "Sex and the City", and getting a spinoff will be a great way to celebrate the iconic series.

There are no confirmations whether the other stars "Sex and the City" will appear in the spinoff, but with Sarah Jessica Parker starting the rumor last month, it will only be a short matter of time before the others say something about the rumored "SATC" spinoff.
