Mobile Phone News and Updates: Meizu Pro 7 Bezel-less Phone Rumored To Come Out In December; Xiaomi Mi Mix Look-Alike?

Bezel-less phones are no longer a fad. They are here and there are more coming. One of the manufacturers set to release an edge-to-edge display phone is Meizu, with its follow-up to the Meizu Pro 7, the Meizu Pro 7 Bezel-less phone.

There was a leak of the new Meizu Pro 7 bezel-less phone from the Weibo website which shows the as-yet-unnamed phone having a bezel-less screen. According to reports, other specifications were also in the leaks. The images showed a thin 6.5mm body, a 1,080x2,160 pixel 5.62-inch Super AMOLED display. The Meizu Pro 7 bezel-less phone will also come with mCharge 4.0 capability promising a full recharge of the 3,060 mAh battery in 40 minutes.

There is no word about the processor, but the Meizu Pro 7 bezel-less phone is expected to have 6GB RAM. Industry analysts believe that most high-end phones in 2017 will have 6GB RAM. The Meizu Pro 7 bezel-less phone is also expected to have either 64GB or 128GB of storage. There is no indication that the phone will have a microSD slot for expanded storage space.

The leaked images of the Meizu Pro 7 bezel-less phone show a distinctly designed front-facing camera. The 8MP front-facing camera pops out of the top of the phone when in use. The rear-facing camera is 12MP. The images gave no indication of the camera's features and capabilities.

The above specifications for the Meizu Pro 7 bezel-less phone are not yet official, although there is speculation that the phone will likely be released early next year. Some, however, give the opinion that it might be on sale this December. The design of the Meizu Pro 7 bezel-less phone itself looks a lot like the Xiaomi Mi Mix.
