Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill would officially announce their split in just a matter of days, a source close to the two revealed. The couple is reportedly bound to contracts that require them to finish the leg of their concert tour together; hence, the delay of making the breakup public. But once the concert is done, their relationship is a done deal as well.

The rumored breakup suspiciously happened in the midst of the whole feud going on between Drake and Meek. The latter alleged that Drake is not writing his own lyrics. Drake fired back saying he signed up for greatness, haters come along with it. Meek had since apologized but Drake will not let him get the end of it.

According to one of Nicki's best friends, who has spoken exclusively with MediatakeOut.com, Nicki was the one who called it quits. Asked whether her decision has got something to do with Drake, the best friend refused to answer. Everything is still in its complicated stage, the best friend said instead.

"It's complicated. I think they took their relationship too far, too fast," the source told MediaTakeOut.com.

There have been no supporting reports that could confirm the breakup. However, another source said that Nicki had enough of Meek's fussing over his war with Drake, especially that she had just gotten out of her own conflict with Taylor swift.

Speaking exclusively with Hollywood Life, a source said Nicki is furious for being "thrust into the beef between Meek and Drake."

"She hates it, as well as all the other drama, and thinks that the entire thing is stupid. She is mad at Drake and Meek for having this beef and it put a strain on her relationship with Meek," the source revealed.

"To Nicki, it looked like Meek chose the beef over their relationship and it didn't do any favors for Meek," the source said.

Nicki might have reached the tipping point when Meek reportedly pushed food out of her hand. Witnesses were telling that Meek shoved a fried chicken out of Nicki's hand in what could be describe as a shocking fight between the couple. The fight reportedly happened before the couple takes the stage for their concert in Detroit, Michigan.

According to another source, who has also spoken exclusively with Hollywood Life, Nicki was trying to calm Meek down after an online fight with Drake. However, Meek did not appreciate this. No amount of sweetness from Nicki can get through Meek.

"He's been real salty to her before their show in Detroit," the source revealed.

"She was trying to be all nice and feed him his favorite food, but Meek wasn't having it and pushed it out of his face and out of her hand," the source went on.

Nicki managed to keep her calm according to the source. She gracefully emerged out of the heated situation. After all, the show must go on.
