'Nintendo Switch' Price And Release Date: Price Value Apparently Revealed By Retailer; Leak Confirms New Console Is Cheaper Than Its Competitors

The price of the upcoming "Nintendo Switch" has been leaked and was eventually revealed by the Toys R' Us. The said price of the "Nintendo Switch" was shown on Toys R' Us website that indicates a price value of $329.99 in Canada.

According to the BGR, though that the Nintendo company itself is not planning to share any valuable information about the "Nintendo Switch" until January of 2017. One of the longest kept information for the "Nintendo Switch" is its market price, which is expected to be competitive was revealed.

It was shown in the Toys R' Us website that the "Nintendo Switch" can be bought for $329.99 in Canada, $250 in the United States while €250 in Europe. A screenshot of the said price can be seen via WCCF Tech website.

The Forbes writes in their report that several fans are predicting that the upcoming "Nintendo Switch" would have a price of about $299 per unit. The predicted price was taken from the initial price of the Wii U back in 2012. With the current competition against the Microsoft Xbox One and the Sony Playstation 4, the $299 would be enough for the "Nintendo Switch" price since it is obviously weaker than the 2 leading video game consoles.

Meanwhile, it has been said in the press release of Let's Play Video Games that the "Nintendo Switch" is planned to release in the UK for £199.99 per unit. However the price given is a wholesale price to be distributed to the retailers.

With this, the "Nintendo Switch" suggested retail price is £249.99 which will be about $300 in the US. Yet, nothing was confirmed by the Nintendo company until now, but it is pretty good know that fans would have something in mind of how much would be the "Nintendo Switch" can be bought once it is released.
