'That’s So Raven' Spin-Off Update: The Best Friends Are Reunited, Chelsea Is Definitely Back!

More fun is coming our way as the latest update on the "That's So Raven" spin-off was revealed last Monday. Disney confirmed that Raven Baxter's soul-sister Chelsea Daniels is definitely in the list of characters for the "That's So Raven" spin-off. The role will still be played by the original cast, Annaliese van der Pol.

As reported by E! News, in the spinoff, Chelsea will also be a divorced mom just like her best friend Raven. Chelsea Daniels also has a child - a little boy named Levi who is arrogant, self-serving and a manipulator. The roles of both Raven Baxter and Chelsea Daniels have matured in the spinoff being moms who are set to raise their children together.

Sources say that the pilot episode for the "That's So Raven" spin-off will kick-off by Chelsea and her son Levi, moving into Raven Baxter's house along with Raven's kids, Nia and Booker. Viewers can only imagine how fun that is, having the original partners-in-crime together with the new kids in one house.

Disney Channel's Executive Vice President, Adam Bonnet also released a statement saying that Raven-Symone is one of the artists who well contributed to the success of Disney Channel around the world. Her performance in the first "That's So Raven" series was truly amazing and that they are looking forward to sharing Raven Baxter's life, now as an adult for the new generation.

On the same note, Disney said that Annaliese van der Pol and Raven-Symone as a pair is comedy gold. Both of them are great performers and definitely have an incredible comedic chemistry. Raven-Symone and Annaliese van der Pol are great friends in real life and they are excited to work together again soon.

According to Teen Vogue, Disney is aiming for the production of the "That's So Raven" spin-off to start early next year.
