Miley Cyrus' Little Sister Comes Out of the Shadows: Noah Cyrus Releases Debut Single 'Make Me Cry'

Noah Cyrus, 16, has always been known as Miley Cyrus' little sister. She has performed alongside her famous sister Miley Cyrus and her equally famous Dad Billy Ray Cyrus. However, on Tuesday, she released her debut single "Make Me Cry" which was written in collaboration with British singer and producer Labrinth.

EOnline reported that "Make Me (Cry)" is "really quite good." The article said the song was "way different than most artist's first, pop-inspired hit-including Miley's-as it follows a slower beat with a theme relating to toxic love and heartbreak."

This isn't the first time that Miley Cyrus' little sister, Noah, has come up with a recording. She and Frankie Jonas, who happens to be the younger brother of Nick Jonas, sang together the children's theme song of Hayao Miyazaki's iconic film "Ponyo" in 2009. She also voiced for Ponyo's character in the English version of this hit Japanese film.

The music industry isn't surprised that Miley Cyrus' little sister, Noah, has decided to join the rest of the family. Noah has been singing since she was in diapers and has been greatly influenced by the music or their Dad, Billy Ray, who is known for his number one single "Achy Breaky Heart."

"My dad always had me sing alongside him while he played guitar. He taught me how to harmonize to an old song of his, 'Missing You,'" Miley Cyrus' little sister, Noah, said in an earlier interview.

Noah Cyrus' style is raspy and "Make Me Cry" is a catchy electro-pop tune that features vocals by British recording artist Labrinth. The Daily Mail reported that Miley Cyrus' little sister, Noah, had landed a recording contract worth $350,000 in September. She also wrote most of the songs in the album herself.

Miley Cyrus, for her part, couldn't be more proud of Noah.
