Marvel's 'Inhumans' Movie Cancellation: ABC To Air The New Superhero TV Series Next Fall, Intended Movie Debut Not Going To Happen

The "Inhumans" is reportedly joining the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the ABC's Marvel Universe family. It was announced that confirmed by the ABC network and Marvel Studios with few details about its cast and producers.

According to The Verge, the "Inhumans" are planned to be a movie that would hit the big screen in 2019. It was announced by the Marvel Studios that the "Inhumans" will now be on TV instead of being a film.

That announcement was made a few days ago along with the confirmation of the partnership between Marvel and IMAX. Both companies come up with an agreement that IMAX would provide a financial help for the development of the "Inhumans" TV series.

The "Inhumans" is set to release this 2017 with a 2 weeks pilot episodes hitting the IMAX. It has been said that the "Inhumans" is not a spinoff of the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., instead it will run a story of its own.

As per the Hollywood Reporter, the "Inhumans" was originally planned movie being announced back in 2014. The "Inhumans" supposed movie was revealed to hit the big screen in 2018, and then later was pushed to 2019 before eventually removed to the schedule. The "Inhumans" movie was expected to be in line with the Avengers: Infinity War, Black Panther and Thor: Ragnarok.

As of today, the "Inhumans" is confirmed to be aired in the IMAX for its first two weeks. As per The Geek reported, it may seem that tickets will be sold for about $20 a piece, though it is still questionable if the buying the ticket is worth it with the fact that it can be seen on TV for free.

The "Inhumans" TV series will obviously focus on the story of the Attilan Royal Family. Fans are not excited to see the effects that will be used and how will the Black Bolt, Medusa and Lockjaw will look like in live-action costumes.
