Kendall Jenner Is Stressed Out! Talks To Ellen DeGeneres Why She Decided To Delete Her Instagram Account

Many fans of supermodel Kendall Jenner expressed their concern when she deleted her Instagram account earlier this week. She then appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to explain that she deleted her Instagram account because she wanted to detox.

Kendall Jenner is one of the most followed celebrities on the photo-sharing platform and the 21-year-old shared with Ellen DeGeneres that she, "...just wanted to detox. I just wanted a little bit of a break." Kendall Jenner had the most liked Instagram photo back in 2015, which is the snap wherein she was lying on the floor and had her hair strands form little hearts around her, thus the growing number of followers since last year. Photos posted by the young model gets thousands and sometimes millions of likes in just a couple of hours so many were shocked that she made such a move, E! News reported.

She further reveled with Ellen DeGeneres that whenever she wakes up in the morning, Instagram is the first thing she would be checking out. She also said that whenever she goes to bed, it also is the last thing she would look at. The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" reality star said that she felt like she was too dependent on the app so she wanted to take a minute, detox, and promised that she will be back.

The news about Kendall Jenner's Instagram account being deleted also made it to one of the biggest news publications, the CNN. When Ellen DeGeneres asked her about her story being featured on CNN, Kendall Jenner said that she did not think that anyone would notice her being absent on Instagram much less think about the topic being one of the headlines on CNN. She said that she thinks it is so crazy because she had no idea that anyone would even be talking about it.

She then told the audience that deleting Instagram was a nice decision and she suggests that other should do it too because she is away from her phone and she starts to engage in real life and she deals with real people, Mashable reported. She also said that she took off Twitter from her phone but is not off of it entirely.

Kendall Jenner did not offer any details as to when she will be back on Instagram.
