‘Doomsday Clock’ Set: Stephen Hawking & Scientists Fear Donald Trump’s Policies On Climate & Nuclear Weapon

Nostradamus predictions written in the 16th century are turning out to be true these days. His predicted Donald Trump to be the President of the United States, which has made people believe and fear the "Doomsday" as well.

"Doomsday Clock" scientist are also considering Trump's presidency and its consequences. As previously reported, Trump wants to boost coal, oil and shale industries across the country, abandoning Barack Obama's plan to cut 26-28 percent of greenhouse gas emissions by 2025. According to a report by Reuters, Trump calls man-made global warming a hoax and wants to cancel the 2015 Paris Agreement that aims to switch from fossil fuels to cleaner energy sources.

Trump is close to proving one of the Nostradamus predictions, which says "Radiations burn the planet," as scientists fear the effects of climate change and nuclear weapon modernizations. Reportedly, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists will meet this week to discuss the impacts of Trump's climate and nuclear weapon policies.

Scientists have set "Doomsday Clock" yesterday midnight, which shall demonstrate how close we are to the end of the world. Scientists say "The probability of global catastrophe is very high, and the actions needed to reduce the risks of disaster must be taken very soon."

Meanwhile, Stephen Hawking predicts humanity would not last more than 1,000 years on Earth, the New York Post reported. Hawking urges on spreading out in the space colonizing other planets to avoid extinction caused by climate change and nuclear weapons.

Hawking also warns that aliens could conquer the Earth, which might not be friendly. Although, predictions on "Doomsday" are high, a mathematician named Fergus Simpson from the University of Barcelona claims that humanity has 0.2 percent chance of extinction this year. Simpson explains 100 billion humans have been born so far and 100 billion more have to be born. But with the increase in birth rates seen, nearing to "Doomsday" could be soon.
