"Teen Wolf" Season 6 spoilers hint on the possible arrival of Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) at Beacon Hills for the show's series finale. Previously, it was deemed impossible for his character to return to the show since Hoechlin was cast in The CW drama, "Supergirl."

However, recent updates from TVLine reveal that the show has currently no plans to get Hoechlin back on "Supergirl" Season 2. This means that Hoechlin can still appear in a scene or two for "Teen Wolf" Season 6.

In an interview with series creator Jeff Davis, the show runner told Forbes that he is optimistic that he will get at least one returning character for "Teen Wolf" Season 6. This led to speculations that Hoechlin will be back for the show's series finale as Scott's (Tyler Posey) mentor, Derek Hale.

"I'll tell you, I've reached out to more than one person," he said. "There's one person I'm hopeful to get, I will say."

Many fans believe that Hoechlin's role will play a vital part in "Teen Wolf" Season 6. As seen in the season premiere of the show, Scott, Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and the rest of the Pack were dealing with the Ghost Riders.

Scott and the Pack would, therefore, require all the help that they can from others in order to save Stiles in "Teen Wolf" Season 6. As for the possibility that a spin off would be created, Davis explained that there have been talks, but there are no plans to do that anytime soon.
