Love is one of the things you want to take slow- that is probably what "The Bachelor" Season 20 star, Ben Higgins is thinking when he decided to postpone his wedding to fiancée, Lauren Bushnell. The revelation of the 28-year old lad from Denver was seen in the most recent episode of the series Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After. Now that the wedding is off, will we still see this reality show couple walked down the aisle or will they join the ranks of other couples from "The Bachelor" that parted ways in the end?

The recap provided in EOnline detailed how Ben Higgins surprised his 25-yearl old girlfriend by saying that he wants to cancel their wedding plans for a while. Ben said it during the couple's counseling session wherein he revealed how he felt like everything between them is being rushed and so wants to take things slow to perhaps get to know each other better. Lauren Bushnell appears taken aback by Ben's decision but his boyfriend quickly assured her that though the wedding is off, he has no plans of leaving her.

This turn of events leave the public wondering if the next news to be heard from Ben and Lauren would be their breakup announcement. Since almost half of all couples that started from "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" series end up in separation, the assumption that Higgins and Bushnell may soon split up is not very far from reality.
