Last November 17, Chandler Riggs' dad, William Riggs, posted a message on Facebook to his son. The message says, "7-year contract completed! Grateful to AMC, Cast & Crew, TWD fan base and especially Chandler for always being 100% dedicated". Well, this message though sweet has completely gotten fans in the panic.

Does this mean, Carl Grimes, "The Walking Dead" character Chandler Riggs is playing will die next? These were the thoughts running through the fans' minds.

Fortunately, a celebrity site explained that a contract in Hollywood only lasts around seven years. It means that Chandler Riggs' contract was just completed per Hollywood standard. "The Walking Dead" actor will have to renew his contract with AMC. This also means the renegotiation of fees and benefits and other details.

What we don't know is if Chandler Riggs would be renewing his contract. "The Walking Dead" actor recently shared that he got accepted to Auburn University. Former "The Walking Dead" actor, Jon Bernthal, who played Shane in "TWD" seasons 1 and 2 congratulated Chandler Riggs on his college acceptance.

Fans are assuming that since Auburn University is near the filming location of "The Walking Dead", Chandler Riggs can totally balance going to college and acting as Carl Grimes in "The Walking Dead". But if Chandler Riggs does decide to focus on his education, does this mean Carl Grimes is going to die next in "The Walking Dead" season 7?

Fans are scrambling behind the idea that Carl Grimes can't die since "The Walking Dead" character hasn't even died in the comics yet. However, fans forget that "The Walking Dead" character Andrea was killed off in "The Walking Dead" season 3 while her character in the comics is still alive.
