Kim Kardashian Reveals Gender of Baby: It's a Girl

The suspense is over. Kim Kardashian is going to have a baby girl.

The pregnant reality television star and boyfriend rapper Kanye West were overjoyed with the news, a source close to the celebrity couple told Us Weekly.

"They're over the moon!" the source said "Kanye always wanted a girl."

The 31-year-old "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star started dating West in April 2012, shortly after her split with husband and NBA player Kris Humphries. Kardashian's marriage with Humphries lasted only 72 days and the gorgeous television personality filed for divorce from Humphries Oct. 31, 2011.

Kardashian and West confirmed the baby news in December 2012. Kardashian is still not legally separated from Humphries.

During a chat with Du Jour in January 2013, Kardashian explained her pregnancy as totally unexpected and a surprise.

"I just feel so blessed and excited and ready for the next phase," she told the magazine.

She also revealed that pregnancy has brought about many changes in her lifestyle, particularly her eating habits.

"I used to always say I can't wait to get pregnant because I will just eat whatever I want, but it's completely different," she said. "I'm like, OK, I want to eat as healthy as possible. Though lately I've been watching shows like I'm Pregnant and Addicted to Meth. It definitely makes me feel better if I'm wanting one sip of Diet Coke or, you know, too much sugar. I'm like, This woman is on meth."

Earlier, Kardashian's mother Kris Jenner, during an interview with E!News, had revealed her daughter's strange pregnancy cravings.

"She's craving Pizookies...it's a giant cookie and I think it's at BJs and I think it has ice cream on top, but right now it's all about the Pizookies. Last night, she was craving artichokes, Chinese chicken salad-no onion and French fries," Jenner said.
