‘Luke Cage’ Season 2 Air Date, News & Update, Cast: ‘Daredevil,’ ‘Iron Fist’ Villain Hits Harlem? Netflix Series Violent On Misty Knight, Luke?

Marvel Netflix series "Luke Cage" Season 2, which stars Mike Colter, is anticipated to bring in "Daredevil" villain and main "Iron Fist" baddie Madame Gao (Wai Ching Ho). Lauded as the current most successful Marvel adaptation on Netflix, "Luke Cage" had been violent not just for Mike Colter, but also for Simone Missick (Misty Knight).

"Daredevil" villain Madame Gao is anticipated to be å thorn on the side for Iron Fist (Finn Jones) in the new Marvel series on Netflix. But Madame Gao will get around as Luke Cage could go head to head with the Chinese drug ring boss, even while Mariah Dillard (Alfre Woodard) and Hernan "Shades" Alvarez (Theo Rossi) continue their mischief.

Parent Herald cites observation by Vanity Fair that Madame Gao was referenced in "Luke Cage" Season 1 by Domingo Colon (Jacob Vargas). According to the media outlet, Madame Gao and her Still Serpent heroin brand will create more noise in "Luke Cage" Season 2.

The interaction between Madame Gao and Daredevil had been quite interesting. Collision between Madame Gao and Luke Cage would definitely be a worthy watch.

Meanwhile, Comicbook reports juicy behind-the-scenes on the Netflix series, especially on violence that Simone Missick experienced while playing Misty Knight and by Luke Cage himself Mike Colter.

Citing an interview by Metro with Simone Missick, the media outlet reports that the "Luke Cage" actress agreed to forego a stunt double in a shooting scene. While taking a shot in the face was realistic for Misty Knight, the "Luke Cage" scene left its mark on Simone Missick.

In the same report, Comicbook cited a story by Mike Colter about prop malfunction on the "Luke Cage" set, which left the Netflix star's head numb for short while. Mike Colter was supposed to be hit by a prop baseball bat, which was set to crumble on impact. However, the "Luke Cage" prop remained in one piece and injured Mike Colter.

All the hard work for Luke Cage, Misty Knight and the rest of the Netflix series's cast did not go unnoticed. "Luke Cage" Season 1 now boasts rating higher than Season 2 of fellow Marvel Netflix series "Daredevil" as Digital Spy reports.

Netflix has yet to announce "Luke Cage" Season 2, but anticipation projects release date for 2018 after "Iron Fist" airs in 2017. Share your projections for "Luke Cage" Season 2 in the comment box below!
