‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Cast And Spoilers: 'Doctor Strange' Benedict Cumberbatch And More Superheroes To Appear?

The "Avengers: Infinity War," the third Avengers movie, is already currently filming. Will fans see Benedict Cumberbatch a.k.a. Doctor Strange? And which other Marvel superheroes will make an appearance?

Fans will be thrilled to know that Cumberbatch is indeed set to join the Avengers. In an interview confirming his participation, the "Doctor Strange" actor said that there’s some difficulty in aligning schedules with the other casts of “Avengers: Infinity War.” Actors such as Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Hemsworth have prior commitments, but fans are excited to see that they’re already filming.

Though Cumberbatch didn’t say it’s for “Avengers 3,” it's easy to conclude that it’s the only movie, for now, that the three actors will work on. Fans hope to see these Marvel superheroes in one movie soon, Cinemablend reports.

Meanwhile, Hawkeye is also back on the team. Actor Jeremy Renner is said to be excited for "Avengers 3." He even hinted that there could also be a spinoff for Hawkeye, Screen Rant reports.

Nathan Fillion is also said to portray Wonder Man in “Avengers: Infinity War.” Though Wonder Man's already living a private life, his help will still be appreciated as his fellow superheroes will fight against Thanos in “Avengers 3.”

But why does the third installment of “Avengers” need more superheroes? Here are some of the possible answers.

The “Avengers: Infinity War” is said to be the culmination of Marvel's cinematic universe. However, fans still expect an "Avengers 4," where Thanos will gain more power. Another theory suggests that the need for so many superheroes is because Thanos will assemble the Infinity Gauntlet which will endanger the earth. The Avengers will now have to save the earth.

On the other hand, some theories also consider that Thanos will steal Doctor Strange’s time stone and Vision's mind stone. The supervillain will use these to execute his dreadful plan.

The "Avengers: Infinity War" is set to be released on theaters on May 4, 2018.
