‘Fear the Walking Dead: Passage’ Spin-off Webseries Releases Part 6: Introduces New Character

AMC's spin-off to the Walking Dead TV series, recently released part 6 of its webseries, "Fear the Walking Dead: Passage." In this episode, Sierra and Gabi make it to the Mexican border and meets a new character.

The webseries is a 16 part mini-episode produced as a companion to the Fear of the Walking Dead spin-off. It follows the story of two women who travels to Mexico in search of a safe haven.

After meeting in a military quarantine zone, survivor Sierra (Kelsey Scott) agrees to help Gabi (Michelle Prada) reach the border as the latter promises sanctuary. Gabi convinces Sierra that her boyfriend, a border patrol, knows a secret tunnel that they can take to make it safely to Mexico. Although skeptical of an existence of a sanctuary, Sierra accompanies the injured woman to the border.

In part 5 of the webisode, the two women enter a new facility. Gabi was leading the way when she was ambushed by a walker. Luckily, Gabi wasn't bitten as the walker was chained by the neck. Taking it as an opportunity to teach Gabi to kill zombies, Sierra gives her a knife. However, as she was about to stab the knife in the walker's head, a gunshot killed the zombie splattering blood on Gabi. The man who fired the gunshot also reveals himself Colton.

As it turned out, the gunshot was fired by Gabi's boyfriend, the man who worked at the border patrol. The two embraced and the woman cried as she tells her boyfriend that her sister is dead. She also introduces Colton to Sierra who picks up the knife she gave to Gabi. In the last scenes, it showed that both Sierra and Colton are wary of each other.

Can Colton and Sierra learn to trust and help each other or is Colton an enemy and kill both women? That will be answered in the coming "Fear the Walking Dead" webisodes. It is not yet known who among the main characters will cross the border safely. Based on past webisodes, whoever arrives in Mexico and survive will be part of cast of Fear the Walking Dead.
