'Attack On Titan' Season 2 Release Date, News & Update; Eren's Origins Unlock The Secret Of The Titans?

Just recently, "Attack on Titan's" creators have announced to release Season 2 in the spring of 2017. Rumors have it that "AoT's" plot would possibly unlock secrets of the Titans and Eren's connection to them.

The first season of "Attack on Titan" closely followed the events from its manga series, its Japanese comic counterpart, where new chapters are being released monthly. "Attack on Titan" is about humans struggling to survive in a post-apocalyptic world where human eating Titans roam around outside the walls of the city. The story begins when the Titans breached the outer walls forcing the humans to move further into the inner walls and have soldiers specially trained to fight against the Titans and protect the inner city, thus the title of the series.

The main characters of the "Attack on Titan" series are Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi and the members of the Survey Corps. The second season of "Attack on Titan" is said to look personally into the lives of these characters.

According to the leaked plots from GackHollywood, "Attack on Titan" Season 2 will possibly continue with the scene from the last season where Squad leader Hange Zoe saw a priest who worshiped the walls and asked him the reason why. If you stayed a little bit later into the last episode of Season 1, a Titan's face was uncovered inside the walls, which has become quite a brainteaser for all fans out there.

Moreover, Eren is rumored to finally unlock his basement using the key his father left him. The basement is said to hold the secrets to the origins of the Titans, Eren's relationship to the Titans and why they wanted him so badly and possibly a new revelation of his Titan form. These rumors are not fully confirmed but surely something great for fans to look forward to next year.
