MacBook Pro Best Substitutes: Dell XPS 13, Microsoft Surface Book And Acer Swift 7! Learn The Details Why!

MacBook Pro is definitely a class of its own. At the end of the day, it is packed with features that make other manufacturers green with envy. The MacBook Pro's features are difficult to rival. However, there are close substitutes if one can't afford to have the MacBook Pro. The Dell XPS 13, Microsoft Surface Book and Acer Swift 7 are good options especially for users who prefer to use Windows more than Apple OS.

According to The Inquirer, since the launch of MacBook Pros back in 2014, many users have lined up and didn't mind spending so much just to have the device. However, not known to many, there are good MacBook substitutes available for a more affordable price.

The Microsoft Surface Book is another good MacBook substitute. It has 13.5-inch 3000 x 2000 display, a Surface Pen support and Lenovo Yoga-style hinge. During its launch, it is referred to as Microsoft's "most powerful laptop". this is because of NVIDIA GeForce GPU that sits inside the Surface Book's keyboard. The Keyboard of Microsoft Surface Book is detachable and the tablet component switches to the integrated GPU once the screen is detached. The Microsoft Surface Book comes with a MacBook style design, Windows 10 Pro, 8 and 5MP cameras, full sized SD card reader and 1TB of flash storage.

Another entrant as a good MacBook Pro substitute is the Acer Swift 7. It only weighs 1.1kg and comes with 7^th Gen Core i5 7300U processor. The Acer Swift 7 also has options for 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD storage.
