Many Apple users are curious why Apple decided to remove the glowing Apple logo on its new Macbook and MacBook Pro line. Mac laptops are known for its iconic Apple glowing logo as it is one of the aesthetics that set the machine apart. Not many laptops have glowing logo and Apple's have a huge impact on its design.

According to WCCF Tech, at first the removal of glowing Apple logo is only to be done to MacBooks. However, it is also removed from the latest update of MacBook Pro 13 and 15. In terms of design, the shiny Apple logo is pleasing to the eyes, but for someone who has been using Apple for a long time, the glowing Apple logo is an iconic design.

Apple has been taking its users by surprise and most of the time, not in a good way. Apple did the removal of glowing Apple logo. It was not so much expected. Next, it removed the ports. Many users are confused by its decision to remove features that make its machines a class of its own.

Apple has not revealed the reason for the removal of the glowing logo. At the time, it is being replaced by glossy Apple logo in black on the Space Gray model and in white on the Silver model.

As added by Mac Rumors, Apple's first laptop which received the glowing Apple logo is the third-generation PowerBook G3 released back in 1999. For almost 20 years, the glowing Apple logo has been illuminating MacBooks and now it is gone.
