‘Overwatch’ News And Updates: ‘Overwatch’ Breaks From Symmetra Shields? Leaks Hint About ‘Overwatch’ Event And New Mode?

There's "Overwatch" news about "Overwatch" players breaking the game using Symmetra's new shields. But many are hoping Blizzard Entertainment would overlook this "Overwatch" glitch. What could it be? On the other hand, "Overwatch" leaks hinting at an upcoming "Overwatch" event is spreading on the internet. How true is this and how true that "Overwatch" is getting a new mode too?

It seems players are not only enjoying playing "Overwatch" but are also enjoying customizing it to their desires. Using "Overwatch" Symmetra overhaul currently live on the "Overwatch" PTR, players has taken to use Symmetra's kit to a whole new direction Blizzard Entertainment clearly never intended to happen.

Video clips of "Overwatch" gameplay wherein players have taken to customizing "Overwatch" by spawning as many as possible of Symmetra's new shields. The spawned Symmetra shields are then flung in the air until it collides with something in the "Overwatch" environment that doesn't recognize the spawned Symmetra shields. The collision causes loud noises, leading to a lag in "Overwatch", eventually crashing the game servers.

Other clips using these spawned Symmetra shields show Reaper teleporting on top of a shield that enables it to fly around. Customizing Symmetra using her kit has even enabled "Overwatch" players to use her to tank and block D.Va ults.

Obviously, once Blizzard Entertainment fixes this glitch, Symmetra will get even better than before. But for now, "Overwatch" players are using her kit to their heart's desires.

On the other hand, "Overwatch" audio clip leaks have spread the rumor that this coming holidays, "Overwatch" will be getting an event. In an audio clip shared in Reddit by user Venxa, the "Overwatch" heroes' interactions can be heard as well as a Christmassy jingle on the background.

Another "Overwatch" leaked audio clip has AI Athena spouting lines of "entering the Arena", "Gladiator", and "Challenger" has many believing that it hints at a possible new mode for "Overwatch". Many are hesitant about the authenticity of the audio clips but with the success of events like the Summer Games and the Halloween event for "Overwatch, it is highly likely that Blizzard will be banking on the Christmas holidays to launch an "Overwatch" event.
