MacBook Pro Touch Bar: 'Doom' On The Touch Bar?

"Doom" is a video game that is said to change the world of gaming since it runs on everything be it on ATMs, calculators and printers. Facebook iOS engineer Adam Bell got "Doom" running on the recent MacBook Pro touch bar.

Bell revealed a video on YouTube about his completed work with sound effects. The original game "Doom" does not look so inspiring. But fitting in all the outrageous pixels on a 2170x60 touch bar is an outstanding development on the MacBook touch bar according to Engadget.

It works completely with full classic sound effects and background music and the game is complete with HUD mode which shows the health, weapons, ammo and stats of the game on top of the MacBook Pro keyboard while the game is running.

The touch bar is one of the most considerable features and new addition in the latest Apple MacBook Pro. The new feature can help users move buttons near the screen and substitute the old school Fn row keys. One thing is for sure with regard to the question of the functionality of the Touch Bar Display and that is it can run an old time classic video game "Doom".

Adam Bell took on the challenge to take the 1990's game into the MacBook Pro Touch Bar even though it is distorted in some way. Some programmers or tech people never tried what he did but he proved that it was doable. His work was considered as one of the best programs done today.

One of the features of the touch bar is that it supports Touch IS to unlock the MacBook Pro to verify online purchases. Opening the photos app likewise would allow users to edit the image and work their way through the videos as well according to Tech Times.
