Garmin Vivoactive HR LATEST Review: Once Worn, There's No Need To Remove This Smartwatch! Learn Why!

Garmin has been providing smartwatches and it did not disappoint with Garmin Vivoactive HR. The device has features that can easily rival the leading smartwatches in the market. This is good as sports enthusiasts have wide array of options to choose from, to find which smartwatch is best for them.

According to CNET, the design of Garmin Vivoactive HR is sleek because of it being slim. However, this may not be considered appealing by many. Smartwatches come in circular or rectangular with curved edges so having a design as Garmin Vivoactive HR may be considered slightly off by users.

The Garmin Vivoactive HR's design is also particularly for sports activity. Unlike its competitor like Apple Watch or Huawei Watch, the Garmin Vivoactive HR can't particularly be worn in the office or in formal occasions such as wedddings.

The Garmin Vivoactive HR is water-proof of up to 50 meters, giving a user no reason to remove it anymore. It also has an always-on display which is easy to read even in outdoors. The downside though is that it may look dull when indoors. Slight glitch but still considered an important factor by many.

The heart rate sensor of Garmin Vivoactive HR is considered a good one for most. It is relatively accurate on easy and light runs and other physical activities. This is also considered an easier option compared to wearing a chest strap.

However, the Garmin Vivoactive HR heart rate sensor is not considered perfect. There is known to be a slight delay of between five to seven seconds when compared to the heart rate data from Polar H7 chest strap.

As added by DC Rainmaker, the Garmin Vivoactive HR will also almost accurately track the number of steps because of its accelerometer. It measures it 24 hours a day, every time the smartwatch is worn. Just like any standard smartwatch, it can easily show distance walked and floors climbed.

It may not be as good as Apple Watch, but it is a close option. Note though that this device is better off worn in sports activities alone as its design may come a little out-of-place anywhere having a formal setting.
