‘Sherlock’ Season 4 Air Date, News & Update: New Season To Return On New Year’s Eve Of 2017; TV Series Ending?

The long wait is finally over! This is at least for the waiting fans of the series "Sherlock" starring Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock) who also played the magical role of Doctor Strange, and his co-star, Martin Freeman (Dr. Watson). This TV Series the revival of the famous Victorian-era novel by Arthur Conan Doyle.

According to Independent the fourth season of the television series is expected to reveal a darker theme. "Sherlock" Season 4 would show "Moriarty" himself return to be the bitterest among Sherlock's nemesis after reappearing last season with words "did you miss me?"

Earlier this year, the production crew of Sherlock treated its fans with its special episode, the "Abominable Bride". Nonetheless, it had not released any confirmation for the release of Season 4 until late this year.

Reports from the producers themselves convey that its premiere in the UK and US is set on New Year's Eve. The latter is said to be entitled the "Six Thatchers" says Cinema Blend.

Furthermore, news of its comeback with new explosive episodes is met with gossips of an ending. Fans fear this could be the last season of "Sherlock".

Yet there is more to expect. The reoccurrence of the detective will be presented with an anticipated number of flashbacks as to how Andrew Scott (Jim Moriarty) came back to life despite his death in Season 2, which was witnessed by Sherlock himself.

Internet spoilers also disclosed matters regarding the second episode entitled "The Lying Detective, which, by the way, has no vivid plot yet. The third is still unrevealed and is said to be still under study when the producers last spoke about it.
