End Of The World Update: Water Found On The Earth’s Core; Planet Earth Dies If It Dries Up!

One of the things we need in order to live is water. The importance of water is not only needed by all the living organisms on planet Earth but is needed by the planet itself. Scientists have finally found concrete proof that there is water deep inside the Earth's core. They also emphasize that if the water deep in Earth's core dries up, it is the end of our planet and the end of the world.

There are currently two groups focusing on studying the water found deep in the Earth's core. The water reservoir can be found 620 miles under the surface of the Earth. It is calculated that the huge water deposit in the Earth's core made up 1.5 percent of the planet's weight. It means the total amount of water of all of the oceans on the surface of Earth can also be found deep inside its core.

The other research groups have found out that the water found inside the Earth's core is located much deeper - at least a third of the way from the Earth's very core. This new location of the water inside the Earth's core is thanks to a diamond spat out of a volcano in Juina, Brazil.

The 90-year-old diamond has impurities locked inside the mineral. Upon further investigation, the researchers from Northwestern University in Illinois found that the impurities have a trace amount of hydroxyl ions which comes from water.

Water deep inside the Earth's core is important for the planet's geodynamic activities. Geodynamic activities are the moving of the plate tectonics, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions. These geodynamic activities like the volcanoes are vital to the survival of our planet.

Take for instance the importance of volcanoes. Without volcanoes and its eruptions, there will be no soil produced on Earth or diamonds brought to the Earth's surface. Volcanic activities also contribute to the building of the Earth's crust on which we live.In plate tectonics, water is important as it helps grind and weaken rocks between plates. Water also acts as the grease between the plates that keeps it from moving smoothly.

If water deep inside the core of the Earth dries up, all of these geodynamic activities will stop. It will then eventually lead to the death of the planet. This scenario is what other scientists believe what happened to dead planets.

Dead planets don't have water. The absence of water means there is no geodynamic activities on the planet. With this new information, this changes the hypothesis of scientists studying the mortality of a planet. It seems the survival of a planet hinges on the water stored deep inside its core. Even if the planet does not have water on its surface, what is important is that it has water deep inside its core for it to survive and fuel its geodynamic activities.

The importance of water has taken on a different meaning. We know we won't survive without water and now it seems without water, our very own planet will die.
